We will having our uniform fittings on Thursday 7/11, Tuesday 7/16 and Wednesday 7/17 at 5:30. If your athlete has practice on those days she will be fitting during practice. If you do not have practice on those days please plan to bring your athlete into the gym.

About Coach Sam M.

Coach Sam M.

Coach Samuel Moore

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Coach Sam is a 20 year gymnastics veteran who has competed at the State, Regional, National, International and Collegiate levels. Coach Sam has won several Utah State titles in the All around and individual events at the Junior Olympic level and went on to compete for the Sun Devil Gymnastics Club at Arizona State University. Coach Sam served as Team Captain for three years during his time at Arizona State University, was elected as the National Collegiate Student Representative to the USAG collegiate athletics committee and was chosen as the 2004 USAG Collegiate Student Athlete of the Year.

Coach Sam has helped host numerous gymnastics and youth sporting events, has worked with the Sun Devil Gymnastics Club in Cooperation with the Arizona Cardinals (NFL) and Phoenix Coyotes (NHL) to promote youth health, athletics and education. Coach Sam has been invited to coach at the prestigious Lake Owen and Woodward Gymnastics Camps where he spent several weeks each summer during his University years coaching gymnasts from around the world alongside Olympic champions and University coaches.Overall, Coach Sam has coached gymnasts of all ages for over 7 years from preschool age children to collegiate level all stars, recreational gymnastics to competitive boys teams and he is happy to add cheerleading tumbling coach to his list at All Pro Gymnastics and Cheer.

Coach Sam Graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Science and Engineering in Mechanical Engineering in 2005, after which he spent 2 years in South Korea serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from 2005 to 2007 and is fluent in Korean. Upon returning from South Korea, Coach Sam worked in Research and Product Development in materials science in the Dental Industry while attending Salt Lake Community College to receive an Associate Degree in Non-Destructive Testing Technologies which, in turn, lead him to a career in the Nuclear Power Industry here in Maryland. Coach Sam currently works for Transnuclear Inc. an Areva Group company which is the worlds largest provider of Nuclear Power and Nuclear Energy support services.

Look for Coach Sam out on the floor coaching the All Pro All Star Diamonds in their tumbling classes and don’t be afraid to come up and introduce yourself as Coach Sam loves to meet family and friends of those whom he coaches.

All Pro All Stars Updates

Hello parents,

Our season is off to a great start!  The girls have been working really hard and they look amazing. 🙂  Here are some important reminders to keep everyone on the same page:

Administration paperwork:  If you have not yet done so, please make sure that you have turned in your family information sheets as well the gym contract and the cheerleading contract.  If at anytime your contact information changes please let us know immediately so that we can make sure you are kept up to date with new information.

APPC and Registration Fees:  The APPC ($45) and Registration fees ($100) are now overdue.  If you have not paid them yet please do so the next time your athlete has practice.

Parking:  We understand the parking situation can be pretty hectic and we are working on having it expanded.  Please make sure that you are only taking up one parking spot and if you are walking your child in please do not leave your car running and unattended, blocking the flow of traffic.  Thank you!!

 

Apparel and Uniforms:  Order forms and payments for all apparel and uniforms are due on July 1st.  Please double check to make sure you have included sizes for everything that you are ordering and that they are correct.  We will also have all of the girls individually measured for their uniforms at the gym.

Lateness/Absences/Vacations:  Please notify your coaches ahead of time if your child is going to be late or miss practice for any reason.  This will help us plan our practices more effectively and also let us know that the girls are safe and accounted for.

4th of July:  The gym will be closed on Thursday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.  We will be open the remainder of the week. Please have your athletes wear red, white and blue to practices to show some USA pride!

Private Lessons:  Our tumbling instructor, Sam Moore, is available for private lessons several times throughout the week. Private lessons can be done individually or in groups of 2-3.  It would be a great idea for each each athlete to meet with him once or twice over the summer to get individual attention and suggestions for exercises that will help them improve.

Save the Date!! We are planning a fun bus trip to New York for the day on Saturday, October 12th.  The trip will be open to all athletes, family’s and friends that are interested!  Stay tuned for more information regarding times and cost.

All Pro All Stars is a competitive all star cheerleading and dance program in Howard County, Maryland. We have teams for athletes of all level, age 4 & up.  With the commitment and enthusiasm of our staff it is our goal to teach young athletes how to work together as a team and achieve a common goal.

As an affiliate of the All Pro All Stars organization you will feel like a member of a big family. We not only introduce technique in our athletes, but also inspire responsibility, dedication, and confidence in order to build strong leaders both on and off the competition floor.  All athletes will have a home here at All Pro regardless of age or skill level. We take great pride in providing all of our athletes with outstanding instruction. All classes are designed with age and ability level in mind. Through these opportunities we hope to instill a strong self-esteem and sense of pride in every athlete.  All Pro All Stars will focus on competing in the all star cheerleading arena in many local competitions.

The All Pro All Stars coaching staff includes current and former members of the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders, the USA Gymnastics National Team, University of Maryland Competitive Cheerleading, University of Maryland Spirit Squad, University of Maryland Dance Team,  and skilled dance performers and seasoned tumbling coaches. Our coaching staff is focused on providing a safe and fun environment for all All Pro All Stars members to reach excellence in both personal character and skill.
